Ouachita Christian scored in every inning on its way to a 13-3 win over Sterlington on Monday afternoon.
Originally scheduled to be played at OCS, the game was moved to the dryer grounds of Panther Park.
Designated as the visiting team, the Lady Panthers went ahead 1-0 in the first when Hannah Jerkins smashed a two-out double and scored on Rachel Wisecarver's base hit.
OCS scored two runs without a hit in the home half of the first, and Sterlington tied the game at 2-2 in the second on Chesnie Daigle's RBI groundout.
It was all OCS from there as the Lady Eagles plated five in the second, one in the third and two in the fourth to soar ahead 10-2.
Sarah Tilmon pitched all five innings to gain the win as the Lady Eagles improved to 11-3.
Besides out-hitting the Lady Panthers 8-4, the Lady Eagles capitalized on nine walks and six errors.
Macey Downhour drove in two runs with a pair of singles, and Carolyn Dorris, Breanna Anderson, Peyton Owens, Kristin Finley, Allie Rae Hamby and Sara Shivers added base hits.
Jerkins was a bright spot offensively for the Lady Panthers (10-7) with a double and a single, and Wisecarver and Saniyah Owens supplied base hits.
Jayla Stewart was charged with the loss with Emarie Adams in relief for Sterlington.
