Natures Hideaway Garden is getting ready for fall, and to get the community ready they are hosting a Vintage Barn Market on Saturday, September 22, with fall décor, food, and a whole lot of fun.

Nature's Hideaway Garden, located at 5032 Naff Street, is a garden center and flea market selling items for home and garden, repurposed furniture, and also offers a wedding venue.

Two times a year they host an annual Vintage Barn Market. During this year's fall event, lasting from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m., vendors of all kinds offer fall décor, vintage home and garden items and much more.

“It's all handmade and vintage,” said owner Kathy Gilbert. “We have people selling jellies and jams, jewelry, and wood work,” she said.

There will be plenty of food and door prizes as well.

“We will have a food vendor so there will be things to eat,” said Gilbert. “We will be doing giveaways all day.”

Nature's hideaway itself will have all its fall items for sale. They have fall plants and décor.

“We have our mums and pumpkins in and our fall stuff,” said Gilbert.

It's not just about shopping though. They will also be giving planting tips and demonstrating the making of fall décor.

“We have an area where we do demonstrations on gardening and home décor,” said Gilbert.

The event is absolutely free and lasts all day. Gilbert encourages everyone to come, enjoy themselves, and get ready for fall.
