Like many folks, we hate to see the U.S. Postal Service put elimination of Saturday delivery back on the table as a means of straightening out its finances.

Governor Bobby Jindal underscored his administration's promise to give sexual predators the hardest state to operate in by announcing legislative priorities he will be focusing on during the next session. He held a press conference on Tuesday at the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office in Lake Charles highlighting those priorities.
