WOODVILLE, Miss. — Mason Rogers and Jacob Farrar teamed up for an abbreviated no-hitter and Prairie View plated 12 runs in the top of the third to complete the sweep of Monday's twinbill with a 20-0 triumph over Wilkinson County Christian.

Prairie View took a 4-0 lead in the top of the first.

Cade Murphy walked, was awarded second on a balk and touched home on Rogers' RBI single. Gage Riles beat out a one-out infield single, setting the stage for Caleb Christmas' two-run double. After Jacob Walker was hit by a pitch, John Major Guerrero singled home the Spartans' fourth run.

Prairie View doubled the difference to 8-0 with four in the second.

Murphy led off with a base hit and Rogers doubled. Three pitches later, Tyler Peters doubled both runners across. RBI singles by Gage Riles and Walker extended the margin to 8-0.

Prairie View sent 17 batters to the box in the marathon third inning.

Rogers struck out four and walked two in two innings for the win, and Farrar worked a three-up, three-down third.

Prairie View was credited with 19 hits as Rogers went 4-for-4 with three doubles and four runs scored. Murphy went 3-for-3 with a double and scored four times. Peters and Christmas doubled and singled, Riles and JaMarco Edmonds produced two singles apiece, Cameron Thompson crushed a two-run double and Walker, Guerrero and Jaheem Brown singled.

Prairie View (6-1) is back in action Tuesday against Adams County Christian. Game time is 2 p.m. in Natchez, Mississippi.
