CROSSETT, Ark. — Pro-Day Baseball will conduct a preseason baseball camp on Saturday, January 13th at the Crossett High School Indoor Facility.
The camp will be conducted by ProDay founder Jeff Gross, a former Texas Rangers/Chicago Cubs scout. Gross, who has worked in baseball for 30 years on both the professional and minor league levels along with coaching college baseball, will teach the fundamentals of the game in all phases from hitting, fielding, pitching and base-running.
The camp will consist of two sessions with the morning session from 9:30 am - 12 noon for players ages 8-12. The afternoon session runs from 1:00 - 3:30 p.m. for campers ages 13-18. The camp cost is $40 and is limited to the first 20 players per session.
Pro-Day Baseball has helped 100-plus players into professional baseball and over 1,000 players into colleges since its foundation in 1989.
Among the current/recent Major League players Gross has been associated with include nin-time Gold Glove Winner Torii Hunter (Minnesota Twins), Travis Wood (Chicago Cubs), Justin Upton (Los Angeles Angels), BJ Upton (Cleveland Indians), John Buck (Atlanta Braves), Stephen Drew (Washington Nationals) and Billy Sadler (San Francisco Giants).
