Sterlington 58, Winnfield 32

Justin Fuller scored all 13 of his points in the second half to help Sterlington separate for a 58-32 win over Winnfield on the second day of the Sterlington Shoot-Out, Thursday afternoon.

Receiving five points from Kaden Key and three each from Kyle Henderson, Mike Givens and Colby Rivera, the Panthers opened up a 14-4 lead at the end of the first period.

Trea Green picked up five points in the second quarter to help Sterlington push its advantage to 25-10 at the break.

Winnfield outscored the Panthers 16-9 in the third frame. William Glover and Zion Paul scored five points apiece as the Tigers closed within 34-26 at the end of the frame.

Sterlington quickly regained the momentum in the fourth quarter. Fuller tossed in eight points and Reid Handy seven as the Panthers outscored the Tigers 24-6 over the final eight minutes.

Rivera tallied seven of his 10 points in the second half to accompany Fuller in double figures. Sterlington (11-3) also received eight points from both Henderson and Key, seven each from Handy and Green, and five from Mike Givens.

Scoreless at the midway point, Paul scorched three 3-pointers en route to scoring all 11 of his points in the second half. K.J. Evans supplied six, Glover and Quincy Mangum five apiece, Davion Goff four and Quienton Fields one for the Tigers (3-11).
