Jimmy Walker, 62, expediting supervisor for Trumbo Incorporated, died Saturday, December 20, 2008 at Baptist Memorial Hospital - DeSoto.

 
Mr. Walker was born September 12, 1946 in Jones to the late Cay and Ruby Walker.  Services will be Tuesday, December 23 at 1 p.m. at Twin Oaks Funeral Home in Southaven, Miss.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one grandson, Jerad Walker, and several brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Sandra Walker of Walls, Miss.; one son, Jamie Walker and his wife Kara of Bastrop; two daughters, Ashley Jones and her husband Stevie of Bastrop and Vickie Gunnels and her husband, David of Walls; one brother, Huey Walker of Horn Lake, Miss.; one sister, Evelyn Green and her husband Alvin of Whitehall, Ark.; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

The family requests that memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, any of the local 4-H Clubs, or Citizens Bank and Trust Co., 6851 Hwy 301, Walls, MS  38680, 662-781-1320.
