A Monroe woman last seen in Bastrop on Memorial Day is missing, and the Bastrop Police Department are asking for help in finding her.
According to Bastrop Police Chief Downey Black, the Monroe Police Department was contacted regarding a missing persons.
Veronica Lasha Walker, 25, was reported missing having last been seen in the City of Bastrop on Memorial Day.
The Monroe police contacted the Bastrop police to aid in the search of Walker. She is a black female that is 4’9” tall and weighs 115 pounds.

Four thefts occurred on Monday, June 22.
The first was at 8:55 a.m. A hi-point 380 pistol valued at $115 was taken from a truck on Upland Road.
At 11:23 a.m. on Collinston Road, someone took a Rouger P95 9 mm handgun from a truck.
Within two hours, another theft occurred. This one was at 12:52 p.m. at Chemin-A-Haut State Park. A 32” flat screen television had been stolen from one of the cabins.
The last theft occurred at 7:50 p.m. on Mer Rouge Road. A white gold diamond cluster ring valued at $2,500, a white gold waterfall diamond ring valued at $1,800, a Samsung telephone and a Black and Decker drill valued at $50 were taken.
