Recently, Jobs for America's Graduates Job Specialist, Ragan Durham, of the Bastrop Learning Academy attended the 25th annual National J.A.G. Training Seminar in New Orleans. At this event, the Morehouse Parish J.A.G. program was recognized with the highest achievement award for the second straight year.
Durham's J.A.G. program surpassed outcome goals of a graduation rate of 90%, positive outcomes of 80%, part-time employment of 60%, full time employment 60% and full-time placement of 80%. He was recognized by Louisiana State Superintendent, Paul Pastorek and Jobs for America's Graduates President, Kenneth Smith.

Durham's program is housed on the campus of the newly formed Bastrop Learning Academy.
During the upcoming school year, the J.A.G. program of Morehouse parish will be working in close relation with the students of Bastrop Learning Academy and Morehouse Parish Adult Education.
Jobs for America's Graduates is a nationally recognized school drop-out recovery program that operates in 38 states. Its primary objective is completion of the G.E.D. and job placement leading to a career or post-secondary education.
