Overall, Clark received 28,521 votes to Jimmy Faircloth's 25,495. Clark carried 10 parishes as did Faircloth.
Both the Bonita and Collinston tax renewals passed. In Bonita, the one percent sales and use tax passed by a vote of 20 to three. In Collinston the two percent sales and use tax passed by a vote of 34 to 6.
