At Tuesday night's school board meeting, Board Member Louis Melton, who represents District 2, did not support the removal of the ninth grade at Delta Magnet School and voted against the return of the school to a Kindergarten to eighth grade school for the upcoming year. The motion carried despite Melton's objections.
