Mardi Gras celebrations will be held in Monroe on Feb. 7 with a parade hosted by the Krewe of Janus organization.The Krewe of Janus, which was established in 1984, is the organization responsible for sponsoring and conducting the Twin Cities' Mardi Gras Parade every year. The parade has previously been recognized as one of the top 20 tourism events in the south.
