Behind 349 total rushing yards, East Beauregard controlled the clock and tempo of the game against DeQuincy.

After dropping back-to-back games, the Trojans got back to their winning ways, defeating the Tigers 30-8 Friday night.

Brycelyn Murphy had a big game for East Beauregard, running 19 times for 170 yards and three touchdowns.

Tied at 8 in the second quarter, Murphy ripped off a 19-yard touchdown to put the Trojans up 14-8, and in the third quarter, the senior running back scored his second touchdown of the day – a 50-yard run – to extend the East Beauregard lead.

Murphy scored the game's final touchdown – an 8-yard run – in the fourth quarter as the Trojans improve their record to 5-2 on the year and 1-1 in district play.

Trojan running back Konner Seal finished with 69 yards on 17 carries, while Devin Perkins added 53 yards on 12 carries.

East Beauregard is back in action next week against Pickering on the road.
