On Sept. 11, 2018 the Morehouse Parish Sheriff’s Office received a call in reference to a suspicious vehicle on Old Bonita Rd. Sgt Chad Harper responded and located the vehicle. While approaching the vehicle in order to make contact with the driver, the vehicle sped off at a high rate of speed. Sgt Harper pursued the vehicle for several miles until it stopped in the drive of 13501 Red Rogers rd. The drivers then exited the vehicle and fled on foot to the rear of the house. Narcotics agents with MPSO were contacted and arrived on scene. After advising the home owners of their rights, Agents obtained permission to search the house and the shed. A 10’X10’ indoor grow was located in the shed which contained 4 five foot tall suspected marijuana plants. These plants were under grow lights as well as an irrigation system. Agents found a large amount of cut suspected marijuana stems, a glass jar of suspected marijuana and several smoking pipes. Officers arrested Robert B. White w/m 13501 Red Rogers Rd, Bastrop.
