Two people have been arrested in Morehouse Parish after a search warrant turned up Marijuana, meth, Suboxone and Alprazolam.

Sammie White, 39, and Nina C. Turner, 29, were arrested on Wednesday, March 21.

According to the affidavit, Morehouse Parish Sheriff's Office narcotic agents had 1120 Larkina St. under surveillance due to the execution of a search warrant for an ongoing narcotics investigation on Sammie White.

The search warrant revealed approximately 100 grams of suspected meth, 232 grams of suspected marijuana, eighth Suboxone strips and three Alprazolam pills. Numerous plastic baggies and digital scales were also located.

Both White and Turner were arrested and charged with possession of Schedule I (Marijuana)with intent to distribute, possession of Schedule II (meth) with intent to distribute, possession of Schedule III (Suboxone) with intent to distribute, possession of Schedule IV (Alprazolam), possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting an officer.

Both were transported to the Morehouse Parish Jail.
