Students from Beekman Charter School have been practicing in anticipation for the performance of "A Royal Pain," which will be showing at the Rose Theatre on Friday and Saturday.

Director Tina Wolfe said the play will be a fun event for the entire family.

"The play is about six teenage princesses who are trying to modernize the kingdom of Begonia," Wolfe said. "The king is wholeheartedly against breaking traditions, but with the help of Queen Rose and a hidden secret that's decades old, he finally comes around to a 21st century state of mind."

"A Royal Pain" will be showing at the Rose Theatre on Friday, Mar. 9 and Saturday, Mar. 10 at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students and will be available at the door. The box office opens at 6 p.m. on both nights. For more information call Charles Evans at 283.3101.
