A Bastrop man was arrested after Morehouse Parish Sheriff's Office agents said a search warrant turned up cocaine and marijuana.

Darryl L. Fudge, 52, was charged with possession of schedule I (marijuana), possession of schedule II (cocaine) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

At about 11:55 a.m. March 1, MPSO narcotic agents went to the residence of 8383 Old Monroe Rd. to serve felony warrants on Fudge and also execute a search warrant. During the search, agents found 11 grams of suspected marijuana and 45 grams of suspected cocaine that was located in the laundry room and front bathroom. Agents also located a set of digital scales in a grill outside behind the residence. Fudge stated the narcotics did not belong to him.

He was transported to the Morehouse Paris Jail and booked with the above charges, as well as two warrants for distribution of schedule II (cocaine).
