River Oaks 14, Riverdale 6

Brendan MacGregor threw two touchdown passes and intercepted another in the final 1:36 as River Oaks rallied for a 14-6 victory over Riverdale in Game 2 of Friday night's Prairie View Jamboree.

Zack Givens' 53-yard interception return on the sixth play of the game staked Riverdale to an early 6-0 lead.

After stopping the Rebels on downs, River Oaks took over at its own 28 with 2:25 remaining.

A high snap out of the shotgun backed the Mustangs up to the 20 before MacGregor found Taylor Tindall on a deep pass over the middle for the game-tying touchdown. Shaji Ul-Islam's extra point put the Mustangs up 7-6.

Flagged for roughing the kicker on the PAT, the Rebels began their final series from the 15.

Three plays later, MacGregor's pick put the Mustangs back in business at the Riverdale 26 with 17 ticks on the clock.

On the following snap, Will Sherill made a leaping catch at the right pylon for the touchdown with six seconds to play.

MacGregor completed 4-of-7 passes for 128 yards and two touchdowns. Tindall hauled in three passes for 102 yards.

Riverdale managed just 30 total yards (29 rushing, 1 passing) and three first downs.
