The Bastrop Police Department named 19-year-old Terry Lee Brandley as a suspect in Sunday night's homicide.
On Thursday, the Bastrop police asked for the public's help in locating Brandley who is now a suspect in the investigation of the death of 49-year-old Jimmy Lee Davis of Bastrop .
At approximately 10:20 p.m. July 13, Davis was shot and killed on East Jefferson in Bastrop right next to the Morehouse Parish Library. Two people witnessed the crime and were able to provide the Bastrop Police Department with a description of the suspect.
Brandley is described as a black male with dark skin. He is approximately five-feet six-inches tall to five-feet seven-inches tall, 140 pounds with a muscular build and a high-low haircut, which means his hair is higher in the front and on top and then shorter at the bottom and the back.
Anyone with any information regarding the suspects whereabouts may call Crime Stoppers at 281.0050 or the Bastrop Police Department at 281.1322. Crime Stoppers will pay up to $2,000 for information leading to an arrest and conviction in felony cases.
