  • Bastrop junior wide receiver Isaiah Graham has burst onto the national scene this summer.
    Graham (6-1, 179) is ranked as the No. 62 prospect on the ESPN 300 Class of 2016 list.
    Averaging 17.5 yards per catch as a sophomore, Graham snared 39 passes for 684 yards and 10 touchdowns.
    He turned in a career-best nine-catch, 167-yard, three-touchdown effort in a 79-56 shootout loss to Parkway. Graham also went over the 100 yards receiving mark against Pearl, Miss. (4-126-1), Neville (6-110-2) and West Ouachita (8-131-1).
    Louisiana is expected to be a recruiting hotbed next year as the state boasts 19 players on the top 300 list. In fact, Graham is ranked as the No. 8 player in the state.
    Offensive tackle Greg Little of Allen, Texas is the No. 1-ranked player on the ESPN recruiting board for 2016. Little has committed to Texas A&M.
    LSU pledge Edwin Alexander, a defensive tackle for Hammond St. Thomas Aquinas, is the top-ranked player from the state at No. 10. Neville defensive tackle Rashard Lawrence is the next Louisiana player at No. 18.
    Calvary Baptist quarterback and Arizona pledge Shea Patterson is ranked No. 35.
    Other players on the list include John Curtis offensive tackle Willie Allen at No. 50, Kentwood athlete Shyheim Carter at No. 52, Dunham wide receiver Drake Davis at No. 54, John Ehret outside linebacker Michael Divinity at No. 59, Donaldsonville wide receiver Stephen Sullivan at No. 72, Rummel cornerback Kristian Fulton at No. 91, Patterson wide receiver Mykel Jones at No. 121, Warren Easton wide receiver Kelejawan Leflore at No. 132, Destrehan defensive tackle Glen Logan at No. 151, Holy Cross running back Trae Turner at No. 167, Parkway wide receiver C.J. Morgan at No. 172, North Webster athlete Devin White at No. 206, Shaw running back Trey Ragas at No. 216, Calvary Baptist cornerback Andraez Williams at No. 218 and University Lab athlete Tre Jackson, who has committed to Florida.
    Louisiana also has solid representation on the ESPN 300 list for 2015.
    Albanay (Ga.) Westover defensive tackle Trenton Thompson is at the head of this year's senior class while LSU commitment Kevin Tolliver II, a cornerback from Jacksonville (Fla.) Trinity Christian, is No. 3.
    Warren Easton wide receiver Tyron Johnson heads the 13-deep in-state board at No. 27.
    Also cracking the top 100 from Louisiana are Patterson wide receiver Daylon Charlot at No. 45 and University running back Nick Brossette at No. 84. Charlot and Brossette have verbally committed to Alabama and LSU, respectively.
    Rounding out the Pelican State roster are East St. John cornerback Xavier Lewis (LSU commitment) at No. 134, Franklinton athlete Derrick Dillon (Florida commitment) at No. 145, Destrehan athlete Kirk Merritt at No. 149, Baton Rouge Catholic running back Derrius Guice (LSU commitment) at No. 166, Evangel offensive tackle Jerry Tillery (Notre Dame commitment) at No. 203, Shreveport Woodlawn defensive tackle T.D. Mouton (Alabama commitment) at No. 220, St. Augustine wide receiver Stanley Morgan at No. 232, Baton Rouge Central wide receiver Terrell Chatman (Miami commitment) at No. 243, Baton Rouge Central safety Kevin Hardy (LSU commitment) at No. 257 and Jefferson Riverdale running back Donte Jackson at No. 283.
