For the Bastrop Rams' baseball team, the last three games have been feast or famine.

Bastrop swept Wossman in District 2-4A play on Thursday, winning both games 15-0.

First Game

Bastrop 15, Wossman 0

Jerry Powell went 2-for-2 with a pair of doubles and two RBI and recorded the win on the mound in the nightcap.

Gavin Pollock led off the bottom of the first with a base hit to left and eventually scored on a wild pitch to put the Rams ahead to stay.

Maclendon Sharp supplied a two-run double and Cody Kinnaird doubled home a run for the Rams (9-15, 5-3) and Pollock, Kevin Alfaro and Chad Rawls singled.

Second Game

Bastrop 15, Wossman 0

Chad Rawls went 1-for-2 with three RBI to back the two-hit pitching of Gavin Pollock as the Rams won the opener.

Bastrop plated nine in the bottom of the first, one in the second, four in the third and one in the fourth.

Pollock logged nine punchouts without issuing a walk.

Maclendon Sharp, Skadarryo Johnson, Jerry Powell, Jacob Fortner, Rawls and Khayree Robinson singled for the Rams.

Ouachita 12, Bastrop 0

Garrett Heath fired a one-hitter as Ouachita blanked Bastrop on Wednesday night.

Ouachita scored three in the home half of the first, five in the second and four in the fourth.

Caleb Armstrong doubled and singled and Will Heath conked a two-run double for the Lions (14-14).

Jerry Powell singled with one out in the fourth for the Rams' lone hit against Garrett Heath, who struck out three, walked one and induced eight groundball outs.
