The bill that Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer vetoed last night is about to come up in several other states, in different forms. The Arizona bill would let businesses deny service to gays and lesbians because of their religious beliefs. Similar bills are moving through the system in Georgia, Missouri, Idaho, Mississippi and other states.
    Quote of note
"While pricing during the national advertised launch was consistent with the test markets (Atlanta and Chicago), those markets were heavy wing markets which did not reflect some of our broader customers feelings towards the price and spice of the wings." - McDonald's spokeswoman Lisa McComb, talking about McDonald's rolling out Mighty Wings. The first attempt failed, but the chain is about to try again, this time offering them at a lower price (five for $3; previously they were about $1 per wing).
