Detectives with the Bastrop Police Department are looking for information regarding the whereabouts of a Bastrop man wanted in connection with two area armed robberies.

Bastrop Police Chief Downey Black said warrants have been obtained for the arrest of Dangelo Montey Brandon, 23, on counts of armed robbery as well as other various charges stemming from an incident which occurred at a residence on White Avenue and an incident at a residence on Elm Street.

"The investigation into the two occurrences enabled the detectives to gain information regarding the suspect, which we believe to be Brandon," Black said. "The detectives were able to obtain warrants for Brandon and any information regarding his whereabouts would be useful."

Brandon is wanted for two counts of armed robbery, two counts of conspiracy to commit armed robbery, three counts of aggravated assault with a firearm, three counts of conspiracy to commit aggravated assault with a firearm, aggravated kidnapping, aggravated battery and conspiracy to commit aggravated battery. His bond amount totals over $700,000.

Crimestoppers will pay up to $2,000 for information leading to an arrest and conviction in felony cases.
