A Morehouse Parish trio was jailed following a drug tip Dec. 30.

On Monday afternoon, agents with the North Louisiana Drug Enforcement Bureau received information regarding drug activity at a residence on the Old Bonita Road. Upon arrival at the home, located at 12006 Old Bonita Rd., the agents spoke with Bobby Sutton, Shonah Sutton and Mellissa Moore.

The agents received a consent to search the home and suspected methamphetamine as well as drug paraphernalia was located in the room occupied by Moore. In the Sutton couple's room, agents located suspected marijuana, suspected methamphetamine and various items of drug paraphernalia. The agents also located a case containing several needles - some containing suspected meth residue - under a pillow located on a bed next to an infant. Two other small children were inside the residence at the time of the search. The Sutton couple and Moore were placed under arrest for possession of schedule II narcotics (meth), possession of schedule I narcotics (marijuana), possession of drug paraphernalia and three counts of cruelty to a juvenile.
