  • Morehouse Junior High School administrators and staff recognize Robert Taylor, head custodian, as the employee of the month for November 2013.
"Mr. Taylor is an extremely hard working individual who takes his job very seriously," Principal Shelia Minor said. "Not only does Mr. Taylor serve as the head custodian, but he also takes on the role of school monitor. He looks out for the well-being of the students and the entire school.
"Mr. Taylor makes the administrators aware of issues of concern, whether they pertain to the facility or the students. He is always on the job, and he is willing to step in to do whatever he can do to make MJH the best school in Morehouse Parish. He is known for his famous words, 'I’ll take care of it!' There is no job too large or too small for Mr. Taylor," Minor continued.
In addition to all that he gets done during school hours, Taylor works beyond his schedule. Green said he may be seen on weekends, walking around campus and making sure that everything is in good standing.
"We are grateful for Mr. Taylor, a 12-year Morehouse Parish School Board employee, who has been with us for three years," Minor concluded. "He has maintained a great attitude, assisted everyone, and been a positive influence at MJH."
