  • Upset Saturday in the SEC had no affect on two-time defending national champion Alabama as the Crimson Tide washed out Arkansas 52-0.
Sophomore linebacker Denzel Devall had three tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, a sack and a quarterback hurry as Alabama pitched its second shutout of the season.
Devall's season line now includes 15 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, three sacks and two forced fumbles.
Bama (7-0, 4-0) takes on Tennessee Saturday at 2:30 p.m., before wrapping up a three-game homestand vs. LSU on Saturday, Nov. 9.
A look at how some more Bastrop Rams fared over the weekend:

UCA: Jay Wilson caught four passes for 39 yards and returned two kickoffs for 37 as Central Arkansas topped Lamar 26-24 in Southland Conference play Saturday in Beaumont, Texas.
Wilson leads the Bears with 584 all-purpose yards (287 receiving, 259 kickoff returns, 26 punt returns).
RaDarius “Nook” Winston had one tackle for the Bears (4-3, 1-1).
For the season, Winston has 25 tackles, one stop for negative yardage and three pass breakups.
For the second straight week, the Bears lost an All-Southland Conference player for the season as tight end Chase Dixon suffered a broken fibula. Junior quarterback Ryan Howard made his first career start in place of reigning SLC Player of the Year Wynrick Smothers (broken ankle).
UCA is back in action Saturday vs. Stephen F. Austin. Kickoff time for the Bears' homecoming game is 3 p.m.

RODRIGUEZ MOORE returned two kickoffs for 33 yards in Cincinnati's 41-16 victory over Connecticut on Saturday.

SPEEDY: Former Bastrop High and Southeastern Louisiana University linebacker Tay “Speedy” Alford expects to graduate from SLU in December. He is majoring in accounting.
Alford and his brother, Kentravis Aubrey, were in town for Bastrop’s homecoming game on Oct. 11.
