Just six games into his sophomore NFL season, Rueben Randle has already exceeded his production from his rookie season.

Randle's 37-yard touchdown reception in the New York Giants' 27-21 loss to the Chicago Bears on Thursday night was the former Bastrop High Parade All-American's third TD grab in two games.

Randle improved his season line to 20 receptions for 333 yards with 3 TDs He finished the 2012 campaign with 19 catches for 298 stripes and three scores.

The struggling Giants (0-6) entertain the Minnesota Vikings on Monday, Oct. 21.

JAY WILSON caught six passes for 54 yards and RaDarius Winston was in on two tackles as Central Arkansas blanked Nebraska Kearney 31-0 Saturday in Conway.

DENZEL DEVALL made one tackle in Alabama's 48-7 win at Kentucky on Saturday.

South Plaquemines product Bradley Sylve contributed two tackles and broke up a pass and former Dutchtown standout Landon Collins notched two tackles as the Crimson Tide held the Wildcats to 170 total yards (94 rushing, 76 passing).

Opening a three-game homestand, the Crimson Tide are matched against Arkansas on Saturday.

PRESTON COLEMAN registered a tackle in ULM's 21-14 victory over Texas State on Saturday at San Marcos.

ULM has an open date this week, before returning to action against Georgia State on Saturday, Oct. 26 at Malone Stadium.
