      Homecoming Week Activities at Beekman Charter School
      Oct. 7 - Spirit Day. The Coronation Pep Rally will be held at 9 a.m. in the R. E. Tarver Gymnasium and the Tiger Sweetheart will be crowned at this time. Recess: Mini-Pep Rallies for PK-5 at recess
      Oct. 8 - Camo Day. There will be an Alligator Roping Contest at lunch and face tattoos will be sold.
      Oct. 9 - Hawaiian Day. There will be beachy games at lunch and spirit ribbons, leis and candy will be sold.
      Oct. 10 - Decades Day. There will be water balloon games at lunch and spirit boppers will be sold.
      Oct. 11 - Super Hero Day. There will be a super hero flying limbo contest at lunch and super hero cupcakes and cookies will be sold.
      Oct. 12 - A dance will be held for students in grades seven through 10 from 7 p.m. until 10 p.m. in the R. E. Tarver Gymnasium. Tickets are $10 and will be pre-sold during the first 15 min of first hour (More details to come). The dress code is Dressy Casual (ex. Boys can where jeans with tucked in button up shirt) (Girls must be dressed modestly. Strapless dresses may be worn, but they must be modest!
      The court members and the Tiger Sweethearts will be presented by their fathers during the first basketball game to be held on Nov. 8.
  • Beekman Charter School will celebrate Homecoming Oct. 7 through 12. "Welcome to Tiger Nation" is the theme chosen by the student body for the week. There will be dress-up days, but the BCS dress code must be followed even though students may not be wearing a uniform. If a student chooses not to participate in the dress up day, they must be in school uniform.
    The student body elected their homecoming court and the Tiger Sweetheart will be crowned at 9 a.m. Oct. 7 in the R. E. Tarver Gymnasium.
    Chosen to represent the Freshman class were Madison JoLynn Baker (Madi) and Harlee Jo Ray. Chosen as Sophomore Maids were Alyssa Jordan Cockrell, Mercedes Janae Douglas and Carli Jo Grimes.
    Madi is the daughter of Tim and Michelle Baker. She is a junior varsity cheerleader and plans to play softball in the spring. This is her first year at BCS.
    Harlee Jo is the daughter of Chris and Shellie Ray. She plays basketball, plans to play softball in the spring and is a member of the Fellowship of Christian Students. This is her first year at BCS.
    Alyssa is the daughter of Chris and Charmon Cockrell. She plans to run track in the spring and this is her first year at BCS.
    Mercedes is the daughter of John and Mimi Douglas. She is a junior varsity cheerleader and a member of the basketball team. She is a returning student and this is her third year here.
    Carli Jo is the daughter of Ted and Terri Grimes and is a junior varsity cheerleader. She also plans to play softball and run cross country in the spring. This is her first year at BCS.
