With the changing of the seasons, leaves are being to change colors and thoughts are turning to cooler weather as well as fall decorating.
The annual Autumn Joys in the Garden show at Nature's Hideaway is the place to go for not only unique decorating ideas but also informational sessions on how to winterize outdoor spaces.
A full day's schedule of activities are planned, according to owner, Kathy Gilbert.
"We will have special speakers as well as entertainment, a flea market and homemade delectables," Gilbert said.
Among those slated to speak is Jimmy Dean, who will educate on how to winterize blue bird boxes.
Lunch will be available for purchase and vendors will be selling wares such as jewelry, wreathes, blue bird and duck houses and various eclectic finds.
The show will be open from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Sept. 28 and Gilbert said the show will not be cancelled unless there is continuous rain.
