Officials said today that one of the victims of the Asiana Airlines Flight 214 crash died from injuries she received when she was run over by a fire truck. The San Mateo County (Calif.) coroner made the announcement. The victim Ye Mengyan, 16, was thrown from the plane when it crashed and appears to have been covered by foam sprayed on the plane to keep it from burning more, and a fire truck then drove over the girl, killing her. The fire department and the city of San Francisco apologized to the family of the teen.
