  • Morehouse Parish Sheriff Mike Tubbs said the NLDEB officers were in that area Tuesday and noticed a strong odor that is associated with the manufacturing of methamphetamine. As the officers began searching the wooded area, they found an active meth lab.
As they started approaching the lab, two men, Wade Reynolds and Daniel S. Wall began trying to destroy it. Officers were able to apprehend the duo and recover several tanks of anhydrous ammonia as well as other components used in the manufacturing of the drug. The officers also seized a 2003 Pick-up truck and a small amount of cash.
Reynolds and Wall were taken into custody and transported to the Morehouse Parish jail, where they are awaiting bond.
Reynolds was charged with unauthorized possession of anhydrous ammonia, operation of a clandestine lab, possession of meth and possession of schedule I narcotic.
Wall was charged with unauthorized possession of anhydrous ammonia, operation of clandestine lab, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, conspiracy to manufacture meth and possession of meth.
