Scott Richardson manages the one across the street from Bastrop Super Foods in the purple and white striped tent. He has been selling fireworks for 18 years for Hale Fireworks.
“They get bigger and crazier every year,” Richardson said. “Just stop by and we can help find something for everyone.”
His tent is open from 9 a.m. until 11 p.m. every day through the 4th. On the 4th, they will not close until they sell out or people stop coming.
Another firework tent will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day and till after midnight on the 4th in the Rite Aid parking lot.
“We've got dynamite fireworks that all the kids like and a good stock of 500 grams which are popular,” Brenda Tarver said.
Another big firework tent location is by the old Walmart. It's open from 9 a.m. until late. Tara Burch said herself and the other current employees have been running this Hale Fireworks tent for about six years now, but the location has been used for about 20 years.
“We have a wide selection of all the good stuff, including a variety of family packs,” Burch said.
