“This is a great school and they teach things in a way that make it easy to learn,” said BHS student Lateisha Devoil, who is in the NAP. “They've got good people and a great staff.”
From 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. April 25, the school will have an Open House.
“This is a way to show people what we offer here and how to enroll,” LDCC Campus Director Loe Dunn said.
This is the first DISCOVER DELTA evening, which will span out to multiple campuses throughout the Northeast Louisiana Region.
Chancellor Barbara Hanson, along with the faculty and staff at the Monroe, West Monroe, Bastrop, Ruston, Lake Providence and Tallulah sites encourage anyone thinking about attending the school to come to the open house event.
"The Bastrop Campus located at 729 Kammell Street will be open to visitors and prospective students and each department will feature its program offerings, refreshments will be available and door prizes will be awarded," Dunn said. "Persons interested may have their glucose level checked and blood pressure checks will also be available."
Financial aid information and admissions details will also be available for prospective students.
