Matt Giddens swept the hurdles as Sterlington finished runner-up in the teams standings at Wednesday's District 2-2A track and field meet.
Giddens was timed at 16.18 in the 100-meter hurdles and 46.03 in the 300m.
District host Lakeside won the team trophy with 161 points, followed by Lakeside with 139, Lake Providence with 124, Jonesboro-Hodge with 118, Homer with 68 and Ferriday with 28.
Other individual winners for the Panthers were Matt Allred in the pole vault (12-6), John Colaluca in the javelin (128-3) and Jared Powell in the discus (101-1). Powell was also sixth in the shot put.
Drew George was second in two field events, the triple jump (38-10) and the pole vault (8-0).
Derek Price, Brandon O'Clair, Josh Guerin and and Logan Cain teamed up for a second-place finish in the 4 x 400-meter relay.
Derek Price, Jaylon Wade, QuenTerrius Gray and Cain placed third in both the 4 x 100m (43.7) and 4 x 200m (1:33.96) relays.
Cain was third in the 400m, while O'Clair contributed a third-place showing in the 800m.
Quinn Glaze and Levi Chadwick finished 3-4 in the 3200m with times to 12:28 and 12:32 and 4-5 in the 1600m.
Charles Parks was fourth in the javelin, while Colton Harris was fourth in the discus.
Rounding out the Panthers' scoring were Brandon Douglas, sixth in the triple jump (37-3), and David Walker, sixth in the 800m.
