  • Funeral services for Mrs. Carol Silmon, age 69, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at Faith Baptist Church with the Rev. Rubin Weaver officiating.   • Mrs. Silmon was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Silmon.
    She is survived by her son, Robert Silmon and wife Martha of Kingsport, Tenn.; two sisters, Elaine Crainshaw and husband Larry of West Monroe and Donnie McDowell and husband Carlton of Bastrop; four brothers, James Farrar of Sheridan, Ark., Glenn Farrar and wife Sharon of Bastrop, David Farrar and wife Cindy of Bastrop and Ricky Farrar and wife Diane of Bastrop; and grandchildren, Hannah Silmon, Zachary Silmon and Joshua Silmon.
    Serving as pallbearers will be Randy Daigle, Logan Daigle, Justin Crainshaw, Greg McDowell, Jimmy Farrar and Clay Braxton.
    Donations to Faith Baptist Church food pantry in lieu of flowers are appreciated.
