Marty, a landscaper, was born August 4, 1964 in Sterlington and he died as a result of an accidental fall on February 20, 2013 in Swartz. Marty enjoyed studying his Bible. He had a "big heart" and was always willing to help a friend or someone in need. He loved everyone and he was loved.
Marty is survived by his mother, Jewel Harris Ruth of Bastrop and his father, Thomas Ruth of Flagstaff, Ariz.; two daughters, Shauna Lynn Aulds and her husband, Wesley "Spud" Aulds and Shayla Marie Black and her husband Justin Black all of Bastrop;
fiancee' Polly Seymour of Bastrop and children Patricia Loggins, Michelle Farrar and husband, Thomas Farrar, all of Bastrop, Jeffery Loggins and wife, Courtney Loggins of Sweetwater, Tenn.; six grandchildren, Makayla Breanne Aulds, Jacelyn Black, Jasmine Green, Allen Mathews, Chloe Mathews and Jayden Loggins; a sister, Roxanne Ruth Vercher of Houston, Texas and brother, James Michael Ruth and wife, Tamara Ruth of Bastrop; nephews, Eric Warren Vercher and Chaz Thomas Vercher and wife, Logan; nieces, Haley Ruth and Emily Ruth; brother-in-law, Keith Warren Vercher; great nieces, Bella Rose Garcia Vercher and Matalia Vila Garcia Vercher; the mother of his children, Ellen Terry Ruth of Bastrop; special friend, Willard "Buddy" Kelly of Bastrop; numerous loving aunts and uncles; and a host of extended family and friends.
