- Funeral services for Doris Arline Hofford, age 80, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, February 23, 2013 in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with the Rev. Jimmie Yocum and James David Bowen officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in the Log Cabin Community. Visitation is scheduled for 5-8 p.m....

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Doris Irene Hofford; her parents, Barney Lee Hall and Mary Irene Hall; two sisters, Mary Ingram and Dorothy Langston; three brothers, Eugene Hall, Barney Lee "Bill" Hall Jr. and William "W.D." Hall; and two grandsons, Jeffery DeWayne Brasher and Christopher Ray Cook.
Mrs. Hofford is survived by her husband of 62 years, David Hofford; four children, David Wayne Hofford and wife Gloria of Ruston, Brenda Bowen and husband Randy of Sterlington, Connie Nichols of Bastrop and Dallas Hofford and wife Gail of Farmington, Ark.; grandchildren, James David Bowen, Melissa Bowen Hughes, Holly M. Nichols, Derek W. Hofford, Devin K. Hofford, Patrick Hofford, Rebecca Hofford, Brent Robinson and Amy Jones; and great-grandchildren, Abby Sue Nichols, William Tyler Nichols, Brody Tucker Nichols, Declan Kole Hughes, Evan Rhys Hughes, Joshua Kade White, Kaleb Michael White, Jeffery Russell Jones, Samantha Rayne Jones, Raylien Richardson, Maggie Barrett and Gage Snipe.
She was a member of Bethany Missionary Baptist and also leaves behind numerous friends.
Serving as pallbearers will be Kent Jinks, Kevin Langston, Brandon Dobbins, Radell Hall, David Ingram, Lamar Belin and Jerry Wolfe.
