Kojerion Hawkins pumped in 21 points as the Lake Providence Lady Panthers were 45-24 winners over the Sterlington Lady Panthers on Friday night at the (Sterlington) Panthers' Den.
Lake Providence took a 9-6 first quarter lead behind seven points from Hawkins.
Getting buckets from Shanequa Williams, Corneisha Wingate and Destiny Willis, the visiting Lady Panthers outscored Sterlington 6-0 in the second frame to go up 15-6.
Hawkins picked up six more points in the third frame as Lake Providence expanded its advantage to 25-13 at the end of three.
Lake Providence (5-15, 3-6) received eight points from Hawkins and seven from Cierra Hansborogh en route to outscoring Sterlington 20-11 in the final frame.
Hawkins was the game's lone double figures scorer.
Jasmyne Washington topped Sterlington's scoring chart with six points.
Following the game, Washington and Lacy Bagbey were recognized during a Senior Night ceremony.
Sterlington (13-13, 3-6) closes out the regular season at home against Jonesboro-Hodge in a makeup game on Tuesday at 6 p.m.
