Obituary Paul Reitzell

Mr. Paul was born in Caldwell Parish, LA, attended school in Clarks, LA, and was a resident of Bastrop, LA for 45 years and a resident of Ashley County, AR for the past 4 years.

A veteran of WWII, Mr. Paul served in the United States Navy at Yonabaru, Okinawa, Naval Air Base. He was a loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He loved to fish and work in the garden. Most of all he loved a good joke and the laughter of a child. He truly was a good man.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Lois Marie (Jenkins) Reitzell; parents, Alvin and Lucy Viola White Reitzell; brothers, Luther, Homer, Wilbur "Pete", and Bill Reitzell; and sisters, Leatrice Benson, Mary McCarver, and Louise Crumley.

Mr. Reitzell is survived by his daughter, Paula Faye Oden; sister, Bessie Crain LaBorde; three grandsons, Gregory Oden and wife Crystie, Brian Paul Oden; five great grandchildren, Garrett Oden, Stephen Oden, Lola Oden, Emily Oden, LeAnne Oden; and a host of family and good friends.

Honorary pallbearers will be Richard Frisby, Michael Frisby, Darren Brantley, Garrett Oden, and Marvin Goeghagen.

Graveside services for Mr. Reitzell will be held 3 p.m. Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at Christ Church Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home
