LeMicah Harris scorched the twine for 25 points and Bastrop survived a late West Ouachita surge for a 64-60 District 2-4A road victory on Friday night.
Leading 23-19 at halftime, the Rams (10-17, 2-3) stretched the difference to 44-29 after three. The Chiefs (12-13, 1-5) outscored the Rams 31-20 in the fourth quarter.
Harris hit four 3-pointers en route to reaching the 20-point mark for the sixth time this season. The 5-11 junior guard scored a career-high 32 points vs. Oak Grove on Dec. 15. Jay Wilson joined Harris in double digits with 12 points. Rounding out the scoring were Lester Lee with eight points and eight rebounds, Quan Washington with six points and seven boards, Demarkiyo Devoil with four points and four blocks, Travion Burks with four points, Alontae Alford with three points and Juwan Norris with two.
Bastrop shot 22-of-56 from the floor (39 percent), 6-of-21 from 3-point range (29 percent) and 14-of-30 (47 percent) from the line.
Continuing conference play this week, the Rams are at home against Wossman on Tuesday and visit Franklin Parish on Friday.
