  • Matt Allred and Lance Richard rang up 21 points apiece as Sterlington had its way with Lakeside, 77-35, Friday night.
    Seizing control from the opening tip, the Panthers jumped out to a 23-6 first quarter lead. Allred knocked down a pair of 3-pointers during a 10-point first quarter. Richard added seven points and Brandon Douglas six.
    Sterlington carried a 39-16 advantage into halftime.
    Richard poured in 14 points, including a trio of 3-pointers, as the Panthers outscored the Warriors 29-9 in the third period to build a whopping 68-25 margin.
    Douglas tallied 12 points to join Allred and Richard in double figures for the Panthers (17-6, 2-0).
    Davian Whiting paced the Warriors (3-14, 0-2) offensively with nine points.
