Marsha Kay Yeldell was born May 25,1956, in Monroe, Louisiana. She came home to Bastrop, Louisiana where her parents were living

She departed this life on January 8, 2013, while in Alexandria, Louisiana her current residence. Marsha was born to the Yeldell family with the privilege of being the first girl in this line for almost 60 years. Prior to her death she lived and shared her life and work in various southern locations. Marsha was never married, but enjoyed the pleasure of helping to rear her niece and nephews, that include Renee Yeldell Jimenez, who took her place as the reigning girl, and was the daughter of her oldest brother. Her nephews include Brad, Chad and Whit Yeldell, sons of her "Bubba" Wesley. Additionally, she was great aunt to Kenney, Tristan and Mason Jimenez, and Colttan and Cailey Yeldell.

Marsha was preceded in death by her Mother, Ivie Lee Hughes Yeldell. She is survived by her father Ed Yeldell, her brother Don Yeldell and his wife Rita, as well as Wesley Yeldell. Other survivors include: Renee Yeldell Jimenez – niece, nephew Brad and wife Stacy , Chad and wife Hailey, and also nephew Whit Yeldell. Also surviving are great nieces Kenney, Tristan and Mason Jimenez, as well as great nephew Colttan Yeldell and sister Cailey.

As an additional note; Marsha, having been president of Shreveport's Elvis Presley Fan Club, could have chosen no better date to leave us than on the anniversary of Elvis's birthday.

Her memorial remembrance will be officiated by Rev. Ezra Cook, and held at the Bastrop First Assembly of God at 2:00 PM, Saturday January 12l, 2013 with reception following. A private interment shall be held at a later date.
