  • The Morehouse Parish Chapter of the ULM Alumni Association will be hosting ULM's weekly Quarterback Club luncheon this Thursday at the Visitor Center in an effort to raise money for Morehouse Parish Scholarship program.
“The Quarterback Club meets weekly, but we decided to combine the two organizations this week,” said MPC of ULMAA member Ron Bush. “We're going to use the proceeds from the event to give to a junior or senior towards college. The scholarships range from $500 to $1,000.”
ULM President Nick Bruno and head football coach Todd Berry will be present at the luncheon. Berry has guided the Warhawks to a 4-2 start, including a 2-0 mark in Sun Belt Conference play.
“Coach Berry will be talking about last week game and future games to come,” Bush said. “The ULM Warhawks will be playing Western Kentucky this Saturday.”
Bush said during the event, items will be available for a silent auction.
The MPC of the ULM AA luncheon will be from 11:45 a.m. - 1 p.m. on Oct. 18 at the Visitor Center.
Plates at the luncheon will be $10. Anyone wanting to attend is asked to RSVP by contacting Ron Bush's State Farm office at 281.1777.
“We're inviting all ULM fans to come out and join us,” Bush said. “The money raised from this event will be going to a great cause.”
