  • Citizens will have the chance to weigh in on a proposed parish ordinance to limit roadside signage when the Morehouse Parish Police Jury meets in August.

The new ordinance, introduced by juror Jason Crockett in Monday's regular meeting, was modeled on a similar law in Ouachita Parish and is intended to promote beautification in Morehouse Parish by reducing small signs on public property and right-of-ways.
