  • Between now and November, the City of Bastrop will look at the possibility of re-negotiating its contract with Veolia Water to continue providing the same services while also cutting costs in difficult economic times.

  •   Between now and November, the City of Bastrop will look at the possibility of re-negotiating its contract with Veolia Water to continue providing the same services while also cutting costs in difficult economic times.
      Based in Chicago, Veolia Water North America is a leading provider of water and wastewater services to approximately 650 communities. City Clerk Sandra Goleman said the city’s original contract with Veolia, entered into approximately 16 years ago, when the company was called Professional Service Group, was initially for sewer services and contained a provision for up to three percent rate increases.
