Mer Rouge farmer Cole Sims has been waiting for rain this summer to plant his soybeans. With 1 to 4 inches of rain Monday night, Sims can now begin his “double cropping.” 


 

Mer Rouge farmer Cole Sims has been waiting for rain this summer to plant his soybeans. With 1 to 4 inches of rain Monday night, Sims can now begin his “double cropping.” 

 

Like many farmers, Sims will plant a crop, harvest it and plant another crop in that same field during that same year.
